Why are classes from past semesters listed?

We provided this service so that you may view reports from any of the classes you have taught for the College of Engineering since the fall semester of the year 2003.
Question:
What is my user name and password?
Answer:
Your user name is the instructor number assigned to you by the University. If you are using our system for the first time, or if you have never created a password on our system, then your password is the same as your user name.
Question:
Why do I need to provide a question and answer when I change my password?
Answer:
The question and answer that you provide will be used to identify you, in case you forget your password and wish to reset it using our automated system. When you forget your password, you will be presented with the question. If you answer it correctly, your password will be reset. Since the question is visible to anyone who has access to or can guess your user name, be sure to make a question whose answer is difficult to guess. For example, you might provide the question 'What is your favorite pet's name?' and the answer 'Rasmussen'.
Question:
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Answer:
Attempt to login using your user name and any password. If the password is incorrect, then you will be provided with a link that will enable you to reset your password. If you follow this link, you will be presented with a question used to verify your identity. If you answer the question correctly, your password will be reset. IMPORTANT!! Please note that if you answer the question incorrectly three times, you will not be able to reset your password using our automated system. This is a security feature whose purpose is to ensure the privacy of your data. This feature will be reset the next time you login correctly. If you were unable to reset your password using our automated system, please contact our system administrator for assistance.
Question:
Before I could see if a student has submitted an evaluation, but now I can't.  Why?
Answer:
In the past, instructors were allowed to see if a given student had evaluated his/her class. To better protect the privacy and anonymity of the evaluations, we have decided to change this policy: instructors will only be allowed to see a PERCENTAGE.  The percentage reflects the number of students who have evaluated versus the number of students who take the course.
Question:
When I try to view a report, it tells me I can't see it until more evaluations are submitted.  Why?
Answer:
Two criteria must be satisfied in order for you to be allowed to view a compilation: (1) at least 2 students must have evaluated and (2) at least 25% of the students must have evaluated.  This policy is meant to prevent the instructor from "deducing" the identity of the submitter of the evaluation.
Question:
What measures do you take to protect my password?
Answer:
All data that you submit to us is protected during transfer using 128-bit SSL encryption.
